Meet Our 2026 New Members

• Bob recently retired from his truck driving job of 40 years for SYSCO foods in California. He and his wife moved to SCA last May so he could play more golf. Bob says "he is still working on his game".

• Larry moved from the Philippines to the USA and joined the US Navy. He retired in 1987 and came to Las Vegas. He joined the Fil-Am golf Assn. and Wildhorse GC.

• Don bought a home in Anthem in 2021 and moved here in 2023 after retiring from the Fred Myer company.

• Gregg moved to SCA in August from Ventura County, Calif. where he golfed regularly with the Sterling Hills and Mountain View Golf Clubs. He is still working as a software consultant and hopes to retire sooner than later.

• Mart and his wife, Konni, moved to SCA from the St Louis area in July 2025. He retired July 1, 2025, after 36+ years in the pharmaceutical business.

• Jeff retired and moved his primary residence from San Diego to Henderson 3 years ago. He still spends a lot of time in San Diego where he oversees a Charitable Foundation. He joined the Men's Club to meet new people and to play different formats.

• Brian lived in San Diego where he served as a police officer until he retired in 2016 and moved to Henderson shortly after. He plays in the Nevada Golf Ass. /SNGA competitions and with the KGA golf group. He enjoys playing courses all throughout the valley.

• Doug was born and raised in Northern Calif. He moved to Hawaii in 1969 to attend the University of Hawaii. He worked in Federal Service as the Director of Sports and Fitness for the Air Force for 31+ years. He and his wife, Kathy relocated to SCA in early January where he has children and 2 grandkids that live in Henderson.

• Dan has lived in the Las Vegas area since 1979. He was an arson investigator for the Henderson fire Department until his recent retirement. He and his wife both love to golf.

• Pat was born and raised in San Diego California and spent most of his professional life with AT@T.  He has been interested in RMGC since moving to Henderson 4 years ago.

Greg was originally from Seattle. He was medically retired from the Army in 2010 and moved to Las Vegas a few years later.  He spent the last 3 years in Florida where he played golf with a group in the Villages. Greg says that he and Robin moved back to Anthem a few months ago because it is a much more accommodating place to live.

Jim has been a long term resident of Sun City Anthem.  Jim was invited to join the Men's Club by two members.  

• George was originally from Seattle where he was a crane operator for 40 years and retired in 2020. He and his wife, Patricia, moved to Las Vegas in 2021, looking for a long and happy life.

• Greg had a long career with Siemens Energy. After retiring from Siemens, he moved to Las Vegas in 2014 were he flipped houses for a while and currently umpires baseball.

•  Jeff is a long-time resident of Nevada. He moved to Las Vegas after graduating from college 46 years ago. He retired about 2 years ago from his job as construction manager for the Clark County school district.  He and his wife split their time between Las Vegas and Arizona where he is a member of the Antelope Hills Men's Club.

• Alan was originally from California and worked for the LA Water Treatment Facility. He was a member of the UBGA Valley Business Golf Association He says his best golf experience was playing at St. Andrews and participating in the LA Open.

• Dave was born in Vancouver.  At the age of 4 his family moved to Hawaii and in 1965 to San Diego where he graduated from San Diego State. He retired in 2018 and moved to the Las Vegas area, but he is still a diehard Padres fan.
